Our fitness center consists of a variety of extraordinary training methods, and you can both engage in classic machines, free weights, or in our functional training areas.

- The fitness center is open every day from 05:00 AM to 11:00 PM, year-round
- Our fitness center is unstaffed.
The fitness center consists of two rooms, where one of them offers classical fitness with TechnoGym machines, and in the other, there are areas for functional training.
You need to be 16+ to use the gym.
Professional training facilities
With state-of-the-art and high-tech fitness machines, you have some of the best conditions for your training in HimmerLand.
The fitness center consists of two rooms, where one is dedicated to classic machine-based fitness with equipment from TechnoGym, and the other features areas for functional training. The primary difference between functional training and classic fitness lies in the approach to training. While classic fitness often focuses on isolated exercises that target individual muscle groups, functional training emphasizes improving the body’s overall function and performance.
Classic fitness
Classic fitness encompasses a wide range of exercises aimed at challenging various muscle groups in your body. This includes typical strength training exercises that focus on individual muscle groups at a time. In addition to strength training, you can also achieve results on the stairmaster, elliptical trainer, cycling, and more.
Funktional training
Functional training aims to challenge the body with different movements and training methods. This can include the use of free weights, bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, and elastics. The goal is to create a training routine that enhances the body’s functional strength, stability, and endurance while reducing the risk of injuries.
Use the app to optimize your training
To fully experience our fitness center, we recommend that you download the TechnoGym app and create a user profile. This will provide you with a wide range of options and guides for the various touchscreen interfaces connected to the fitness machines.

Running on the Roof of HimmerLand Multihal
The fitness center is situated within HimmerLand Multihal, which features a large activity roof where you can challenge yourself by running up to the rooftop.
Once you’ve reached the top, you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Sjørup Lake.
Practical Information
Key card or personal code?
As a hotel guest using our fitness center, you will need to use your key card at the main entrance as well as the entrance to the fitness area. For subscription guests, you should use your personal 6-digit access code. If you are a day guest, you will receive a personal 6-digit code that you will use at the main entrance and the entrance to the fitness center.
Changing Rooms
There are changing rooms and showers available, along with code-locked lockers for storage, in our changing rooms in HimmerLand Multihal. Please remember to bring your own towel and water bottle, which you can fill up in the changing room or in our classic fitness area.
